Occupy your mind
Occupy your mind…Lately the news is a buzz with this constant battle cry. Occupy, occupy though what is the meaning, the objective, the motivation? Does it have to do with wealth and prosperity? The have and have naughts wealth is merely an instrument that can be used both constructively and destructively. Early ages, people learned to develop an opinion about wealth. While simultaneously associating money with greed, selfishness, and unethical behavior. They judge those whom have wealth as the culprits or problem in and of a society. Many people react emotionally when it comes to issues concerning finances, unconsciously condemning currency itself, or those who have more than others.
Or the manner in which money is spent, people should take on understanding wealth is not a trait. One cannot legitimately judge the value of one’s money. Money being neither good nor bad, obviously an item needed to survive in today’s society. Individual wealth however may be a result of long hours of hard labor. Are we mad at the corporations and such there may be some differences to view. I don’t agree with the bail outs and such and so are we judging or occupy to say what? Some individuals and companies may donate a large percentage of their resources to many charitable causes. Do we want that to be to individuals? Do we want more government, less? A so called even playing field, what? Occupy your mind develop a plan of action. Work in your communities, educate yourself, and seek out possibility. Your bounty may manifest as result of a life spent doing what you love. Nothing happens overnight, and while choice is key. Take a moment to re-evaluate your feelings around money and wealth. Do you equate financial prosperity with independence, security, self-indulgence or even happiness? It is none of that; money itself however at its basic core a tool is enabling us to meet our individual needs. Create a healthier view of money and or wealth by simply acknowledging that while there are have and have not’s, we all have the potential to create lives of beauty.
There is I have said it before and will always say a great deal of power in choice. Occupy your mind and understand that in which is your path and which is just chaos.
